Bengals terminate OT Levi Jones’ deal (AP)
The Cincinnati Bengals have parted ways with Levi Jones, terminating the contract of their starting offensive tackle and former first-round pick. The move Wednesday was expected. He has been bothered by knee and leg problems in recent years. Cincinnati took tackle Andre Smith of Alabama with the sixth overall pick in last month’s draft.

Lions sign former Steelers LB Foote (AP)
Linebacker Larry Foote has signed a one-year deal with his hometown Detroit Lions, two days after being released by the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers. The Lions, winless last season, announced Foote’s signing Wednesday afternoon. The Steelers released Foote on Monday, a move expected because he asked to be traded or cut.
