Favre to break silence on Buck’s show (AP)
Brett Favre is about to break his silence on whether he'll play next season. The quarterback is to appear Monday night on the premiere of Joe Buck Live. The HBO sports show is hosted by the longtime baseball and football announcer. HBO says Favre agreed in April to appear on the show at Buck's request.

Paralyzed Cowboys assistant at minicamp (AP)
The Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant paralyzed when the team's practice facility collapsed last month attended the start of minicamp. Rich Behm, paralyzed from the waist down in the May 2 accident, sat in the pressbox Monday to watch the first practice session of the Cowboys' only mandatory minicamp.

Burress gun case delayed until September (AP)
The weapons possession case against former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress has been adjourned until September. Burress made a brief appearance in court Monday. The judge adjourned the case until Sept. 23. The 31-year-old, 6-foot-5 Burress shot himself in the thigh with an unlicensed gun Nov.
