Suspect in Williams murder in court (AP)
A suspect in the slaying of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams has appeared in court in a separate homicide case. Willie Clark is charged in the 2006 shooting death of Kalonnian (kah-LON-ee-ANN) Clark, a Denver resident. He was supposed to enter a plea on Friday, but his arraignment was postponed until Oct.

WR Jurevicius sues Browns over infection (AP)
Former Cleveland Browns receiver Joe Jurevicius is suing the team and the Cleveland Clinic, accusing doctors of negligence over a staph infection in his right knee that kept him off the field last year. Shannon Polk, an attorney for Jurevicius, said the lawsuit was filed Friday in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
