Saints RB McAllister won’t play Saturday (AP)
Deuce McAllister will lead the New Orleans Saints into the playoffs, at least during introductions. The Saints re-signed their popular all-time rusher on Friday with the intention of making him an honorary captain, but McAllister won't play in Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals, Saints coach Sean Payton said.

Tice to coach Bears offensive line (AP)
The Chicago Bears have signed former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice to be the team's offensive line coach. NFL, union pledge $1M for Haiti relief (AP)
The NFL and the players' union are contributing $1 million toward relief efforts in Haiti. The American Red Cross and Partners In Health will receive $500,000 each. The NFL and its network broadcast partners will also run messages before and during this weekend's playoff games to promote donations for the earthquake-battered country.

Vikings DT Kennedy, FB Tahi questionable (AP)
Vikings defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy and fullback Naufahu Tahi (nah-FAH'-hoo tah-HEE') are listed as questionable for Sunday's playoff game against Dallas. Kennedy has an injured thumb, which kept him out of the regular season finale. Tahi hurt his back in practice this week. The injury report was released on Friday.
