Seahawks’ Carroll adds new assistants (AP)
New Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has retained two assistants and added 18 new ones to his first staff. The team confirmed Thursday that defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and defensive line coach Dan Quinn will return next season. Bills get Gators’ Edwards to run defense (AP)
George Edwards has abruptly left the Florida Gators to become the Buffalo Bills new defensive coordinator. Edwards' hiring was announced by the Bills on Thursday, only 27 days after he had been hired to the same job under Gators coach Urban Meyer. Giants Stadium demolition gets started (AP)
